HISTORY
OF THE BREEDING RANCH

Located in Medina del Campo, in the province of Valladolid,
the wine cellars and the breeding ranch, in the name of "La Ventanilla",
were founded by the two sons of Manuel Vicente starting out with the
fillies of the pure Spanish horse, Binguero and the colts and fillies
of the Spanish stallion Tabernero.

A few years later the stallion Inductor was acquired and proceeded to cover all the mares, resulting in beautiful, excellent quality offspring. In this same year with the purchase of Gredos from Valdeolivas, La Ventanilla again obtained some very positive results in covering all the mares. |

At the same time, five colts of strong, noble character
and excellent movements from the stallion Gredos were brought into the
herd. This was also the year in which La Ventanilla attended the competition
in Albacete for exhibition, selling a number of PRE horses. Following
this success, La Ventanilla decided to take part in the Salamanca competition
of 2001, where the mare, Elna, was named Champion mare of Spain. In
Salamanca 2002, Fenix 7 was declared Best in Movements within his section,
was then sold and exported to the United States.
